Jeremy Hellman attended the Fordham University School of Law. During law school, Jeremy interned for the Nassau County Attorney’s Office, as well as for Justice Martin E. Ritholtz and Justice Charles E. Ramos, both of the New York State Supreme Court.
After acquiring a Juris Doctor degree, Jeremy passed the bars of both New York and New Jersey, which he took together. He was then admitted to the New York and New Jersey bars, as well as several federal jurisdictions of New York and New Jersey. Jeremy began his personal injury career soon after by working for some of the best personal injury trial attorneys in New York. Jeremy was named to the 2014 and 2015 New York Rising Stars list. No more than 2.5% of attorneys in New York are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.
In order to effectively represent clients, Jeremy spent a considerable amount of time developing a knowledge base that extends far beyond strictly law-related fields. His ability to research medical literature, building codes, construction protocol, meteorological data, municipal regulations, engineering principles, and many other areas, has enabled him to understand the intricacies of his clients’ cases and ultimately make well grounded legal arguments on their behalf.
Jeremy lives in Cedarhurst, New York, with his wife and three children.
